Felsted 158-7 (Hunter-Jordan 65)
Malvern College 112-5 (Price 2-22)
Match Abandoned due to rain
Felsted managed a healthy 70 overs of the 80 scheduled at Malvern College, but just as the game was set up for an exciting conclusion, the rain ruined proceedings. On a cold day, more reminiscent of a Twickenham final the players did extremely well to field with such enthusiasm. Felsted bowled for the majority of the 30 overs in drizzle and with a very slow outfield scoring was difficult. Earlier in the day Felsted had posted a competitive 158 thanks to captain Joshua Hunter-Jordan (64) scoring at a click not managed by anyone else all day. Max Malins finished the innings well with a quick fire 23. Connor Price (2-22) opened up well, but it was Rory Burns who took the prize wicket of their captain, with a nip backer, who has already signed a 3 year deal with Worcestershire CCC. This is the second year the squad have travelled to Malvern College and the team would like to thank them for their hospitality and especially to Daniel Eglin who opened up his boarding house. #
